A feast for vegetarians. Fake meat made entirely of vegetables, but tasted just like real meat. It is a little salty, I guess it is because they are fake meat made from tasteless soy products. It might be better with rice.
This was my first time going for my birthday, recommended by a vegan group as the majority favourite in this location. We ordered mock meats of vegan pork in sauce, a tofu seafood (which amazingly tasted like seafood) and fried rice with vegetables and seafood tofu. Absolutely delicious!!! Well presented and the server was very helpful in choosing.
The chairs are comfortable with cushioning on, they have larger tables with a rotating glass centre for food and the atmosphere was authentic and nice. The size was bigger than it looks online. We were very comfortable. It is spacious. We will now be going to eat there weekly as live within a short walking distance. It has reverse cycle cooling or heating. So happy to have found it!
You cant get any better service then when you open the door only to be greeted by a BIG SMILE and HAPPY GREETINGS by Steven! He is truly a Gem for his Boss and hopefully he is well rewarded by his Boss for his amazing attitude and efforts. If I own a restaurant, this is the kind of staff I would want! Loved the Thai Tom Kar Whole Fish. Its not spicy, dont let the name fool you. Definitely recommend.
Our family has been to this amazing restaurant several times. The Restaurant Manager here who is Steven Zong is a kind and enthusiastic person who has always been welcoming and talkative to both us and the other patrons in the restaurant. The food is simply delicious with the fake meat especially being beautifully crafted with the right combination of flavour and texture, giving a truly memorable experience. The restaurant itself has won numerous accolades and has even been featured in The Age with a glowing review by Dani Valent!🤯 Vegie Mum is truly the epitome of deliciousness and outstanding customer service.
